Megan Lisa JonesAssociate
Ms. Jones has both a J.D. and an L.L.M. in tax from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. She finished her L.L.M. with Honors. Undergraduate work was completed at Pepperdine University.
After initially passing the California Bar, Ms. Jones worked as an investment banker. She now focuses on the areas of estate planning, estate administration and probate trust and estate litigation. Ms. Jones also advises on NMTC and LIHTC, along with related issues. She brings stellar experience as a financial analyst and tax strategist.
Prior to Joining Oldman Cooley, Ms. Jones worked for securities firms including Lazard Freres & Company and Merrill Lynch. She has extensive skills in company valuation, mergers & acquisitions and capital structures. Ms. Jones did tax work at Ernst & Young, and also spent time with the California Attorney General.
Ms. Jones is a member of the Beverly Hills, the San Fernando and the American Bar Associations. She is a continuing education instructor for Loyola Law School and NBI. Ms. Jones also graduated the Coro Executive Education Program in Public Policy.
